A shot from Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes
Death Valley National Park

I didn't do well on this morning. I can't find a good location without footsteps. I need to do more research next time.

I actually had to look for a bit to find those footprints you were speaking of. I think this is perfect just the way it is!

In this photo does not have a footprint but I did not find it when sunlight was the best. It took quite a while for me to find it out.

In Social Studies we learned never to navigate by the sand dunes...
They change every day even hours...
I hate the heat but I think it would be fun to spend a day out there...
Just to feel what it's like.
Love the lighting in the photo.

Thank you. I think sand dunes at Death Valley rarely changes. I went last year and it looks exactly the same as this year.

Thanks. I think next time I go there, I will safely pull over quite a bit before a parking lot and walk to the dunes. There should be less footprints if the location is far enough from the parking lot.

I was going to ask, "Oh, wow! Is that speck right there a person????" until I realized the speck was on my monitor.

This is beautiful, and having been to Death Valley, I know what you mean; it's a friggin' DESERT, and yet, you really do see signs of people everywhere. The last time I was there, they were shooting a car commercial. They had enough lighting to make the sun stick its tail between its legs.
